i'm pretty sure it has to do with the number of frames or frame rate.. if you're trying to move very far over a small number of frames your object will have to move a larger distance per frame. something moving 500 pixels over 5 frames will have to move 100 pixels per frame, where as something moving 500 pixels over 50 frames only has to move 10 pixels per frame. i usually end up changing the frame rate from the default 12 frames/sec to either 24 or 30 frames/sec (only because of my 3d background). this is usually enough to smooth things out. it will take more frames in your timeline, but it will help to smooth things out. hope i was of some assistance.

does it have text, i ran into the problem that I had the text set to anti-alias for readability and it made everything look wobbly
