ok... so it's just not me watching and laughing at this.
Caught it by mistake on Tuesday night, missed part of tonight... and man. I can't stop laughing at this... I'm just waiting on it to turn into a "ok, we staged this whole thing..."
i caught it for the 1st time tonight...and the last to geeky for me
Oh, the stupid factor is high, but that's what makes this spectacle so hilarious. It's campy, sometimes cruel, and utterly ridiculous in every regard. They've taken a bunch of delusional people and will be asking them during the course of this grand event to live up to a standard that is very nearly unachievable.
Attacking them with the dogs was brilliant. Not only did it make for funny times watching them crumble under their onslaught, but it also showed a glimpse of true human character. Sure, to us it's a joke in shiny tights waiting to happen, but some of these people seem to be really trying to live up to Stan's ideal of what a superhero should be...and that's just plain good TV. :D
i watched it too, that was hilarious. somehow i find that show intriguing.
Guilty pleasure. :)
Love what they did at the end of the episode though with the person kicked off - should be interesting twist in the upcoming shows.
Will they come back as arch nemisesesesess?Quote:

They aired it twice last night (Thursday), the first time at 9pm Pacific (gmt -8) and then later on in the evening/morning on the SciFi channel. It's also coming on again today at 4pm Pacific.Quote:

i ran into my first recording issue with my dual tuner tivo last night where i had 3 programs at the same time, lol. Monk, Stargate and 20/20Quote:

You're kidding? Getting on some tv show no one will remember in a year is the culmination of your life?
Wow...
yea, it does it in order if it can't record it, someone just told me to watch 20/20 that night and i was like ok, i'll record it until i found out that there were already 2 programs queued up for that time slot.
i can't wait for the Series 3 tivos which will be in HD
