I recently started using Flash 8 instead of 5. In Flash 5, I would make my films at 720x540, then export them at 720x480 to be ready for video. In Flash 8, I don't seem to be able to export at a different aspect ratio than the movie is set to. I don't want to resample the movie after exporting; that would needlessly degrade the image quality.
There is an option availabel in export window..."Maintain aspect ration". Just turn it off and you will be able to export your movie in your desired size.
Hey I thought u were talking about video. It is available in export window for video.
I see, you're right. If you export as an image or image sequence, it can't be unlocked. How strange. Thanks.
