No.... If he has a template it's pretty good bet he will give you the FLA file which can only be opened with Flash 8. You can import a SWF into KM but you can't edit it.
You'll either get someone with flash 8 to do the actual editing for you(sub contract it out) or you could look at the template and recreate it with KM (doable but alot of work)
Ahhh, I'll just get Flash. Isnt the brand Macromedia, right?
or can I just buy this software to edit text, etc?
http://home.flashdig.com/
This software is more expensive then Koolmoves. And koolmoves is the real thing.Quote:

I can easily get Macromedia, but its a waste of money if there's software that can open .fla files other than macromedia flash.
Anyone know of any?
If you just want to have this template as a web site, you would be better off paying someone to do it for you. (I could do this myself very easily, if so please send me a privite message). If you want to actually create sites in the long run, then buy the real thing like macromedia's flash.Quote:

Only flash can open and use the FLA files. If you want to make flash sites you can do nearly everything in Kioolmoves that you can do in Flash for a fraction of the money. You just cannot use flash templates and components made with FLASH from Macromedia.
Not only that you can try Koolmoves for free and learn what it can do.
