transparent

hi. i'm running flash 8 and i'm also using photoshop cs. i'm making graphics in photoshop. for some reason i cannot figure out how to make the background of the image transparent in photoshop. i'm making several cubes and i keep getting the white background when i place them into flash.

What format are the image files you are creating ??

If you're spitting jpegs out of Photoshop, you won't get transparent images. You need to output the image files as .png ok.
