Japanese Fonts?

I'm just curious, Adobe Font Folio 10 comes with a ton of Japanese fonts but I have no clue how to use them, when I open the font up it displays English/Roman characters that don't look special... Not too important, just curious...

yer they need certain keyed characters to activate them. Go to a Japanese website and copy & paste some text. should work.

and just for your curiosity: when typesetting, japanese and chinese text takes up around 80% of the room english text does.
