problem with buttons

Hi, I've been making buttons the same way for years but as of the last few times I've made them I've been having issues. When I create a button on my site the mouse over doesn't line up. Its as if the hit area is drawn in the wrong spot but it isn't.
Any thoughts?

I think I may have figured out what was wrong. I went in to the text and changed it from dynamic (which it was default set to) to static. Now the buttons work fine.
