Flash and bandwidth
I am new to Flash and inherited a Flash site that has video streaming and the site seems to have problems on our web server where it takes down other programs on our Windows 2000 Web server. I had to take down the Flash site until the System/Network admins increase the Network bandwidth from the current 10MB to 1 GB by increasing something called a pipe? Please advise if there is way to work around the bandwidth issue on the server so I can get this Flash site up and running again. Is this normal for a Server not being able to handle a Flash program? What is the average Bandwidth a Server should have when working with Flash web sites?

Flash aint the problem, the problem is the video streaming.

Thanks,
If this is a Video Streaming problem How do I correct the problem? Is this something where I have to find a Server that can handle higher bandwidth or is there something I can do with the Video Streaming?

Hard to say, depends on the vids. If the creator of the vids is insane he might have put a 1024/768 film online, then you badly need some Gb. If it's something like that there isn't much you can do, because you ain't gonna resize the film.
Off course you can always kicks the website out of the server but that would be mean and I know you're a good person :grouphug:
