slipstream

New game from me, it's been somewhere around a year since my last one...ugh, too long.

It only took me about a month going at a leisurely for this one, not the big project I've been slaving over...


Anyway, this is pretty much a tron/snake clone with both a multiplayer mode and a single player mode.

In multiplayer, if you are on a pc you can set bots to play against (my first real ai, not bad for being made from scratch I think) and if you happen to have a wii with an internet connection, you can play with multiple wii remotes! yay!


In multiplayer, spacebar/b button uses items, which completely change the game once you figure out how to use them. Everything else should explain itself.


Oh, and in single player, the object of the game is to get the lowest score possible there's various hidden things you can do to lower your score as well (for example, tap a direction key in between levels)

To be honest, I think the single player is too short, but making it just felt...uninspired, so I quit :p

This game is pretty simplistic but fun. Good work.

Great job mate. I only played single player but I loved the style and the gameplay was simple and fun (as it should be!). Only complaint, no sound?

My complaint though is that the controls seem a little clucky
Once you turn it seems to delayed once you try to turn again…

I liked it ALOT, the graphics were perfect for this type of game. It was pretty addicting, and of course like the people above me said add sound. Im thinking of a kind of techno sound because of the way you have your graphics, but a nice calm loop would be nice as well.

A lot of games are posted on this forum. Most of them are rubbish. This, is brilliant. A perfect small Flash game. The presentation and styling was great and the music was very well suited to the game. Unlike most Flash games I actually was hooked all the way to the end. Great stuff!

the music matches the game perfectly good job, I especially like the multiplayer mode.

isn't the title 'slipstream' a little odd when slipstreaming would be the worst thing to do in the game?

@ Cortana - Thanks so much! That's high praise right there! I'm not sure if you know this, but you can also play the multiplayer mode alone with bots.
