4GB or 2GB?
Building a new box (finally), but I'm keeping XP Pro on it.
I know XP can't use a full 4GB of RAM, should I bother getting it. (Mobo only has 2 slots, so my options are 2 and 3.) Probably won't game that much on it, but Flex, Flash, CF Developer, iTunes all get RAM hungry after awhile.
Thoughts?
Also, if anyone wants to point out modules that work fine with a Shuttle SG33G5, feel free. Couldn't find anything from a reliable company on the support list.

Windows 64 bit will support 4 GB of RAM, 32 bit will recognize up to 3 GB.

Nice, Eleniatari! 512MB just doesn't cut it for Flash and IE7. Now if only my board supported speeds higher than 400 MHZ. :(

It's XP Pro 32-bit. Would do 3GB but I only have 2 slots.

Do 2GB now and if you ever upgrade your OS you can throw in a second 2GB chip. I run 2GB at work and it actually works well for most things.

@Jason, he can, but he can't have odd amount of chips. It is possible to work that way. But, it doesn't work well. And the price for a single 2GB DDR2 chip is insane...Since DDR2 is made to work in parallel it isn't handled well when it's odd, thus single chips are also only made by crappy retailers. :D
@Genesis If you have DDR2 ram. ;)
