Digital camera
I've been thinking about buying a digital camera for a while now. I'm interested in a camera where I can manually set the exposure settings. I had a Samsung for many years where you could set A/S/M, and I loved that feature. But I don't need a high end camera.
I asked in a photostore and they recommended the OLYMPUS SP-560UZ. It looks like a good camera, and has the things I want, but is a bit big.
So, my question for all the photo-geeks is: Is it really a good camera, or might there be other similar cameras that are smaller?

Moved from the chat-only Coffee Lounge to the Photography Forum... where the people truly know what the heck they're talking about concerning cameras.
Heck, they've even helped me out... so with that said, experts, what say you to the original poster?

That actually seems like a very decent camera but I can't vouch for it very much as I have never really played around with an Olympus before. Feature set seems good enough for that price point. But if you're worried about size then it may be an issue. That isn't something you just throw in your pocket.
If you get it obviously you are required to write up a review for us all to read.

Thanks for the move Gerbs. I wasn't sure where to post it, as the people here are the same as the people over at the CL.
WannaBe, I can write a review of it if I get it (seems like I will now, as I haven't seen anything negative yet).

Hey that OLYMPUS SP-560UZ looks quite nice with the price.

Can't go wrong with a Canon, get the G9 or one of the AS IS serious, now with image stabilizing and ISO's up to 1600 and all the manual settings your heart will desire
I tried a couple of Olympus's before, but not that one, and can't say I was comfortable with the menus, plus with a Canon you'll be getting used to the eventual upgrade
