I was watching a re-run last night and it hit me. I knew there was something familiar about that athletic gear.

Can't see the first image. Do you have a link?
Apparently it's not as obvious as I thought.
no, it's obvious. just the extra space you have in your post kinda makes it look like there's supposed to be a before and after.
...never occurred to me until now. damn.
I don't get it...
He's saying that the cast of Star Trek is built like football players.
All I see is a comparison between the FK yellow and Star Trek. I doubt Gene Roddenberry invented the FK yellow jAQUAN.

Sorta clueless about sport clothing... it seems.

Is there supposed to be two pictures, but I can only see one? Is it a reference to some secret American common knowledge that can't be shared with the rest of the world? Or could jAQUAN please post a link to another image of what he is referring to, unless that completely ruins the joke?
Edit: Thanks Gerbick, but I have never seen that outfit before. Then again, I'm not an expert on sports fashion ;)
no no, posts like that ruin the joke.
And it's common practice here to hide a punchline below the fold with hard returns.
Heh. I was kidding about the football player builds.
It sounds like Under Armor is an American thing. Consider yourselves lucky.
Oh I see... Well I'm clueless when it comes to actual Football let alone American Football :)Quote:

And they even sell globally.
The closest I get to any of those sports is Pitch and Putt on a Sunday morning, but if that shirt will improve my game I'll invest!
There are some bits on that site I'd get for cycling though.
It's actually is a pretty cool material. I got a shirt for x-mas and while I can't stand the tight collar, it keeps me as warm as a long sleeve shirt without the added weight.
