My new car

I wish. I did get to ride in this sweet little car last night though. It is a '65 Shelby Cobra with a new 347 in it. I have a bunch of snaps on my better camera just haven't had a chance to process them. I will update this thread when I get home and get a chance too.

You can hear this thing coming all the way down the street. I was sucked to the seat when we went down the highway and he dropped it down into 2nd. It is my step moms uncles car. He said at a race track a bunch of car buffs were dragging and that one guy who has the same body style and engine had his front end actually lifted off the ground once he got into 3rd.

Nice $10,000 prism(chameleon) paint job. It goes from purple to gold depending on the angle you look at it.

i was expecting a post about the $30k telsa roadster

Telsa just seem to be the new hot word around the car world. This car is 100x better then those Telsas.

yeah a shelby is def the wet dream of alot of carguys.

but i wouldnt mind have a 100% electric car that goes from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds.. 220 miles per charge.

Yeah for these days that is more of a better ride. But I wouldn't mind a Shelby sitting next to my Telsa in my garage ;)

with all the money you save on gas with the telsa you can save for a shelby to refurbish.

exactly and then by the time I would finish that I will need to take out a bank loan to afford gas because who knows how much it will be by then.

it will be wicked cheap cause everyone will have electric cars;)

If you go 0-60 in 3.9 seconds you don't quite get 220 miles out of a charge.


I've never really liked 427 cobras for some reason. the 289s were nice.. but the 427s were just a bit to over the top.
