[CS3] List with images and text

Hi all,

This is my first post in this forum.
I want to create a list that displays thumbnails and accompanying text just right next to them as list items.
Like the lists smne sees in http://www.fwatheater.com/

I have no idea how to do it, although it may be easy.
Do I need to make a custom cell renderer?

Is there any article or tutorial on that?

After some long search I realised that it is better to derive your own control from ScrollPane for such kinds of tasks...
