If my voted timeslot wins, then yes, I'm participating. Otherwise no.
Count me in. I'll do my best to join whenever it takes place unless I'm really busy.
Ok, here's the deal:
If I get 10+ votes for this weekend in the next 24 hours, it will be held this weekend. Else, it will be next week, or the one after. Just making it clear.
I could do either next weekend or the weekend after that, just not this one. I'm sure there are people who could do all three, how do you account for this in your poll?
I guess if people can do any w/end then they should just go with the flow and vote for the currently most popular.
I've gone next w/end as work is hanging around my neck badly atm.

I think that on some level these dates should be set regardless of whether they are convenient for people. If we always worry about whether people are free to do the contest, it will be put off indefinitely. If we set the dates and then people have to either participate or not participate, that will give the most consistent results, and guarantee that the contests actually happen. In that respect, I think we should do it this weekend.
In some sense, the contest has to be bigger than the contestants.
I agree with WesIsGood. If people delay the contest because they can't make it, it makes it worse for those who can. If you miss one contest, you can always catch the other
I agree too ( Just to buck that trend ), but seeing how an option was given it would be silly of me not to take advantage of it and try and do what was best for me.
I'm sure when the first one goes well then pseudobot will be a position ( With the next comp ) to say "It's this date, take it or leave it".
