God-damn !!

I know this topic is already there in CL but very old.

The reason why I bring this back is because my mind is shattered after having seen this on road last week.

An handicapped(with no legs) who was driving his arm-chained tricycle gets hit by a truck from behind. He was thrown in the air along with his tricycle and landed up on the other side of the road. I stopped my car and rushed into the crowd. Bloody hell, he was still alive and bleeding. God doesn't even like to see him rest in peace???

If "we are all" children of god then why does he love to see this children suffer? Why does he love to see innocent babies and women get killed? Why does he love to see his children begging on streets? And yet, why do people say he is kind and exists?

To all those believers, what makes you think he is kind and exists?

I would be surprised if I get an answer that is genuinely convincing.

Can I suggest a different title?

deepakflash, I too would be surprised if you were genuinely convinced of anything that you don't already believe in.

there are two kinds of people that believe in god.

in the first group you have those that believe what they were raised or taught to believe without ever really questioning it. You could not get a convincing answer nor could you convince them, most likely.

The second group have given it some thought. I think for those they believe god is omniscient and omnipotent, therefore beyond comprehension and certainly second guessing.

Do i believe god is kind or loving? Well.. tell me what the largest number is and I will tell you everything I know about god.

oh come on that can not be an answer.

You'll never get a true answer; you'll have to settle for "popular opinion"... simply because there is no true answer.

Some people that believe in God will say people suffer because rewards await them. Some will say that God is testing them much like Job from the Bible. Some will say that God is no longer here, therefore you are witnessing the fact that God has turned his back on us. Some will say that the suffering is a necessary step to get to the next level and truly appreciate it. Some will say that the suffering is unnecessary. Some will lose their faith because people suffer. Some become apathetic.

There are so many things that can be said. Interpretation is too broad. And no answer to your question will never satisfy you; unless you find one that you are comfortable with.

Check out the pics of starving people in africa. They only have a thin layer of dark skin covering up their bones. Little children drink cows urine to survive. And what the **** is your kind and sweethearted God doing??

Whoever said it was God doing the hurting? Perhaps dominion over humans passed to the Devil and we were not alerted.
