Multiplayer Chat!!!

I have made a really simple multiplayer chat room with a bg that is simple but effective. i made it so that you just put in any login name then you go straight to the chat. when you press enter or click send, your name and what you said goes to a message box with a variable of board and the text box where you insert what you want to say's variable is chat.

anyway, point is i want to add in the right script so that it can get incoming messages from other people online. i also OBVIOUSLY want to make it so that when you send something it goes to everybody else.

if its possible, could somebody explain how to make it so that it stores the latest comment into an xml file that is loaded by the flash movie everytime its changed?

or could i make a text file that does the same?
something like that?

Hey, I found this simple multiplayer chat online, it works great but for some reason inside the .fla it gives an error for opening something. That doesn't do anything to it so its fine. I'm not sure the sql file is necessary. Anyway, enjoy:

i tried this locally and it didn't work!
i'm not sure it would work at all anyway because my site doesn't support sql. yes you do need to use the sql :(

i wanted to make my own chatroom anyway. in fact i already have, just it doesn't work 24/7 and it worked through somebody else's server which sorta sucked.

IT IS POSSIBLE WITH XML

i made a thing load xml. i wanted it to also be editable and when you press a button it will send to the xml file then runs the xml loading sequence again so that it will refresh itself.

that didn't work. so please tell me how to do that and i can do anything to do with editing and flash and xml!
