Load different .swfs from a Folder into a new Movie at Random locations.Help needeed!

Hi what i am trying to acheive is getting a system organised so that I can have a single folder which contains 1 or 100 swf,s ,the number is not an issue here.but the Folder that contains them obviously is.
The swf,s that are in this folder can all be loaded into a seperate movie at random locations on the screen.Obviously I would use create Empty Movie clip and loadMoviie in a for loop to acheive my goal but i need some help onthe structue of the scripting.Any fancy helping me???

I told you before, flash can NOT scrape a directory by itself to get the names and or amount of .swf's that is in there.. it would require something like PHP..

Flash needs a source file.. like a text file or better yet.. and XML file.

now if the .swf's are all named something sequential.. like:

1.swf
2.swf
3.swf
4.swf

etc..etc.. than you can just use the control variable in the for() loop to get them all..but this requires you to edit the .fla/.swf everytime the amount of files to load changes.

so what is it you need/want help on doing?

Ideally i wanted to load different .swfs into the same movie at random locations and have it in the structure of a specific folder which was a container for all of the .swfs,so that rather than hard code tha name and numbers of the .sfs into the script i could just access the .swfs by referencing the folder that they were in.
I have had a couple of replys from a couple of different people all of whom have offered me xml ways round the problem but seing as how i am starting to get profficient in ActionScripting i would rather stick to that and use a .txt file to aceive my goal.As for me keep posting the same messages than i can only appologise and clearly state that this is a slight exageration on your behalf since i have only posted the same message twice and i rarely use flahkit anyway.But i suppose your probably enjoy making people have to explain themselves My advice to you is to get over ur power trip and not abuse ur job position

and dont act like that isnt your 'style' of doing things... what about 'last months featured .fla' posts (that you posted 10 times..cause you were impatient)...

or LoadVariable help thread after thread.... then loadmovie help...thread after thread...

this type of behavior isnt allowed here... and if it keeps up...it can get you banned.. (but since you rarely come here...what do you care..right?)

makes zero sense.. maybe you should learn & understand what your talking about before you start getting an attitude.. (you clearly dont understand what XML is then with that statement)

but clarify, using XML is a better, more organized way (and easier) than using a text file.. they are BOTH just files that hold data to be used in your FLASH PROJECT!..

If you 'rarely' use Flashkit.. then maybe you should read the rules before posting.. or just go to where you 'normally' go to get help, if feel the need to throw out that useless fact. (you sure seem to post the same thing over & over here at Flashkit.com howerver....hmm)

1.U HAVE BEEN VERY DECENT TO ME IN THE PAST..and have offerd me direct and constructive advice so if i tAKE my mood out on you i can only appologise.and i genuinely mean that.. but the fact remains i can spot a
"HEAD ____ " a mile off and i believe there are people who offer u scripts designed to confuse you and make ur life harder and not easier,and so i am trying my hardest to be as specific as possible when i ask for help on flashkit.
So when i ask for a load movie issue to be resolved and someone offers me xml help surely u can understand why i had to keep asking again so that i got an actionscript answer to my question.

uase flashkit anyhow but i have had help from people in the past so i am aware that like most things in life ,nothing comes easy and u have to suffer a bit to get what u want
