Need some opinion!!!

I make alot of 2 player games which ussually are platform games.
I want to know which is better when the 2 players collide.

a. nothing happens

b. they both get pushed backwards

c. they both get pushed over to the other side

anyways the reason i want this is because one of the two will have to be above the other and then it can be a bit annoying for the other player, especially if its coin collecting games. because player on top would get the coins first.
