Updating Access Database - "Error opening URL"

Hi, right i am totally stumped! Im trying to update my .mdb with some user input from Flash. I have been following a 'book' based tutorial on registering a user - updating the database with name and email etc. But i keep getting the error:

"Error opening URL "http://0502622.studentweb.abertay.ac.uk/AddUser.asp"

I have been reading into all the stuff about Flash 8 security sandbox issues and not being able to share information between different domains unless explicitly stated; i came across an article about a cross domain data loading, Here:

However after putting the crossdomain.xml on my server, its still not working!!

I'm fresh out of ideas, please help.
