i could go a week easily as long as i didn't have to work.
I always been known as a man of few but profound words but my ego is way too big to go longer than 24hrs. I question your friends motives. Sure it's not compensation for something?
I had a friend in jr. high who I was out of touch with for a while and started running into him at all the metal shows later in life. His friend told me he once went four years without speaking to his dad who lived in the same house.
He just does weird things. Every time I go off to do something with him it turns into a mini adventure.
Just be wary if on one of these adventures he asks you wear a backpack with some wires sticking out of it.
Naw. He's harmless. Just a character.
I went a month. Typed everything... e-mail, correspondence here on the forums, yet didn't talk for 31 days.

i dont want to ruin the joke.
I used to swear like a truck driver. Then one day out of the blue I decided to give it up as a joke. I didn't swear for 5 years at work. Then one day I let loose. I scared all the waitresses because no one ever heard me swear. They were totally freaked out that I could talk like that.
During my no blue langauge era something odd happened. People respected me because of the appearance of keeping a level head. They too minimized profanity in my presense.
