Installer? and Saved Data File?

Two questions.

My app will save information to a data file, most likely XML. Is it possible to hide that file inside the app while still beign able to export it, or does it need to be a separate data file?

If we distribute via CDRom, I do know about the license needed, can there be one installer that installs both the app and the necessary Air files, or should it be two installers?

Have you looked into SQLite databases? Regardless, you can have the app create the file and export as necessary using the file api.
