Just wondering...
Macosx forums, and since we got our allotment last April I often pop into The Allotment Forum. Just like here there's a lot of very helpful people there.
none really. I sometimes go to drawingboard.org and the sitepoint forums, but as a lurker (although I'm registered). I'm a lurker at maemo (also registered) but haven't contributed.
I'm just not a social person :)
Photography-on-the.net :: best photo forum I've come across and luckily for me it is also Canon centric even though it is great information for anyone.
Bloody-Disgusting :: only pop in on occasion when really bored
Then some others that are even more rare.
A few having to do with toy collecting and video games, but i'm not very active. Barely active here, but this is my most frequently visited.
i am basically a lurker here - http://www.ukuleleunderground.com/forum/index.php
...it is a pretty specialised location, but i like reading and dreaming in the Ukulele-Building/Luthier's-Lounge

flashdevils, ozzu, helifreaks, reefcentral, rcdiscuss, dathorn, hostgator are just a few of the ones that come to mind... I'm sure there are many others I've signed up at in the past that rarely get used.
That includes places like Dell, MS, and whatever company forums for the products I buy or have problems with.
I basically use forums whenever I can't find an answer right away.
Sometimes I'll be searching Google for a forum, go to sign up and get informed that I already signed up before... that's a real Doh! moment.

Its a rough around the edges and rough at the core. Any poor novice musician gets the wind kicked out of em. and somewhere in the mess of miss information an occasional truth about music, composing arranging and engineering a truth emerges.
None really. I'll do the occasional join when I need some help with things like my hvac or car or an immutable virus but I never go back. I've only got enough time for some FK, some twitter and my mailing lists. I have no desire to establish new relationships.
