Well, it brings back good memories to be writing this. I doubt anyone remembers me, but I used to be a regular here. Two years ago I went on a 2 year mission for my church, The Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints, and I just got back about a week ago. For 2 years I haven't touched flash or anything related to it.
My question is this: What has changed in 2 years? What are most people programming in? What software do I need to get?

welcome back for a start and is nice to see people wanting to go back to the flash :D erm everyone is using AS3 now which i dont bother using because it is totally pointless if you ask me, i dont think you can do much more with AS3 compared with AS2 and AS3 is far more confusing and longer, so use what your used to using :D and everyones on flash CS5 now, awesome :P its not changed much compared to previous versions exept some extra functions and little things that make working with it easier :) hope that helps
