DVR'd. Will probably have time to watch sometime next millenium.
Just watched it. Not bad. Kinda fear that it will get old fast but I'll keep watching until it does.
season 1 is only 6 episodes, so they should be able to keep the old feeling at bay.Quote:

That's what I'm liking. Way more time to focus on the impact of such a situation. I guess the comics are just great.
Just watched this and must say two thumbs up so far.
The whole coma thing was very reminiscent of 28 Days Later. Great first episode though. I'm just hoping they find a right balance of drama and zombie goodness, that whole *spoiler* friend dating wife */spoiler* thing better not turn in to a major conflict. They have more important issues to deal with :D
Yeah that was the only thing that sorta bugged me. She was obviously a ho before the zombie thing went down.
i had no idea about the series when i browsed over to the FX channel. The walking dead was playing and i got glued. I actually felt bad that i might have lost out on a lot of previous ep's not knowing that it was the pilot i was looking at. Great Vfx i felt. The whole Francis lawrences' 'I AM LEGEND' is what really pulled me in. And the guy who starred in 'Love actually', that's a good casting right there. I liked his bit in that movie aswell. I hope to follow this series.

Watched it last night - really enjoyed it. It's obviously not massively original but that's what I like about it - it's just a good Zombie set-up done well.
Well they have already ripped off 2 major themes from 2 movies in each episode- but I expected so much. It's once they redo all the crap that's already been done I think the show will get really interesting. Unless they just keep reusing the same scenarios then it will get old fast.
