Better JPEG resolution on Flash site

Hi guys, I've been grappling with this problem and am still in need of a solution.

I've built a flash site that is image-rich. Images are JPEG files pulled into "createEmptyMovieClip" that I have in AS 2.0 on the flash file.

Unfortunately the quality of the images are really bad and that seriously compromises my site. I really do hope you guys can help :)

they should load in as the same quality..

UNLESS.. you are altering/sizing/scaling these empty movie clips after the images are loaded into them..

if you ARE.. that is the problem..

after loading.. attachImage as bitmap..

and force smoothing..
