MadComponents for mobile
I've created a lightweight library of user interface components for mobile. Buttons, Labels, Switches, Input Text, Lists, Grouped Lists, Search Bars, List-based Navigation, Picker, View Flipper, etc.
Flash users can download a .fla demo from:-
http://code.google.com/p/mad-components/downloads/list
(Be sure to move the .swc library to your libs folder, or import it as a library - see the readme file for more details).
Amongst these downloads, there is also a .apk demo for Android. Please, please try this out - and let me know how it behaves on your device. (I've tried it on an HTC desire).
You can also download layout and coding documentation here.
Flash Builder (Flex) users can check-out examples from the subversion repository:-
http://code.google.com/p/mad-components/source/checkout
Using Madcomponents, the UI is declared using XML to describe a layout that is independent of device screen size and pixel density. The MadComponents layout engine also deals with device orientation - landscape and portrait viewing.

... and other posts on my blog.
I'm eager to hear some feedback on this component library. Bug reports, suggestions, etc.
