Windows7, Movie Clips and MOV Export
Hey guys, new to the board, moderately new to flash - quite a bit rusty. Trying to get back into the swing of things and I've been hitting a brick wall in the process.
I usually use movie clips for actual animation loops, like say, walk cycles and such to save time. My general approach is to build one scene at a time, export it all and throw it in an editor like Premier and splice it all together. Since I upgraded to windows7, Quicktime doesn't work anymore. The problem is, if I use any other kind of export besides MOV the animation that would of been in the movie clips is stuck in the starting frame. And while fla does work in editors, it doesn't pick up the clips either strangely enough. I went through the whole data execution prevention route trying to get it running again. I downloaded the latest versions, it literally tells me I can't run it unless I use DEP even when I have it all turned off. Tried to use XP Service Pack 2 for compatibility's sake, doesn't do anything. The program just doesn't open - which is why when I export right now, I'm just getting audio. :(
Kind of a bit frustrated at the moment, and totally out of ideas. I'm pretty sure its not a very unique issue.. so I'm hoping someone here knows a solid fix to this. - Or at least a method to bypass using MOV but still being able to use the movie clips.
Thanks guys!
