She lived and died doing what she loved.
Crack.
She had a great voice. One would have hoped that for all the opporitunity she would have sought and heeded help.
Those who haven't been in the industry are little qualified to cast judgement on those who are. Every big act has more then one falling from grace moment over the course of a career. Some are fortunate to be able to work through those moments others allow it to consume and destroy them.
I think Madonna and a few others would take issue with this statement...

its not about being a fan, its about being realistic. Just because someone has talent doesn't mean they are a good person, or someone who warrants respect beyond what they accomplished.
Whitney Houston was a good singer, annnnnnd that it. She wasted millions of dollars on drugs, continually returned to an abusive husband and in general was the exact opposite of what you want in a role model, she had it all and she snorted it away, excuse me if i save my tears for those more worthy.
Judgmental much? None of those people that are "stars" are worthy of anything resembling emotions from me... they get my money. And without me, they have no revenue stream.
They should be more thankful to us in my humble opinion. Not the other way around.
I don't like the whole movie star fandom crap.
I only get upset at the thought that I'll receive no more art from the really good ones. Heath Ledger and Kurt Cobain come to mind. We lost Whitney years ago so her passing is meaningless. Were some of her songs the soundtrack to some great moments in my childhood? You betcha, but those memories aren't going anywhere just because she went.
Whitney was killed?? is it true i red a article and i dont know what should i bilieve... what you think

The best part about this silly, silly link is the Whitney Houston caption under a photo of Tina Turner.
