have published the swf with protect from import both on and off, neither one works when the movie is viewed with netscape.

which OS and version of netscape?

I had some real bugs with solaris 8/ Netscape on a huge project recently for the SUN Solutions CD.

my clients have the same problem, they're using 4.0 and above

Are you sure you've got the flash 4 plugin for Netscape?

Perhaps I should test it from My box...If I see the error I may have a better perspective.

Let me tell you, I spent...over 25 hours debugging a major piece a few months ago, and I know how frustrating this can be.
