Now onto the questions!
Q1: Now then, we all know you do sterling work babysitting Flashkits various forums but what else floats your boat when you're on the internet. Surely you don't just spend time on message boards?
Q2: I notice your own site is still "in development", when can we hope to see the fruits of your creative labours? People are waiting you know ;)
Q3: Tell us a little more about what you do for a living, I hear it's the jet-set lifestyle of a consultant. Is it really playboy bunnies and Moet in Gerbick mansion or have we got you wrong?
Q4: Onto the subject of design, I've certainly been surfing a lot more these days, coming across some amazing sites and seeing more impressive work not revolving around flash so much. I don't know if this is simply the way I'm surfing - mainly link throughs from design sites - or whether people are going back to basics and not using flash so much. Have you noticed this or is your humble host going mad?
Q5: I saw recently Pixelsurgeon interviewed Jakob Neilsen (usability guru) and it was actually rather an interesting read (for those that didn't see it:
http://www.pixelsurgeon.com/pages/in...en/index.html) how do feel about Jakob's sometimes extreme (but I believe useful) views into your own work and client work yet still retain some elements of style and creativity on your site?
Q6: I'm a massive fan of message boards, both as a help resource and somewhere to meet people from all over the world with common interests to share information, chat and just kill time. I would even go so far as to suggest it's an artistic statement when you can set up a forum/message board and build a community such as the one we have here, the content is updated by a number of people from different backgrounds, geographical locations and ages. Sometimes inane content, sometimes very useful and insightful. Have you ever been so attached to message boards or am I being a little strange and scaring you?!
Q7: and finally ...
Do you have a 5 year plan or are you just taking life as it comes these days?
Thank you for your time, keep an eye open at a drunkfoundation near you for the interview :)
James.
