So I asked this girl to dinner after our class together, and she gave an ambiguous response saying she had to go home this weekend because her parents just got back from vacation.
I later IMed her and said "I apologize if I made you feel awkward, I'll understand if you don't want to have dinner with me." her reply was "you don't need to apologize :)"
The moment was tender, and I should appreciate it. We still talk, but only about class.
I'm going to get some ice-cream to cheer myself up.

Hey, just be cool. When you see her have a big smile on your face even if you have to fake it. Hardly notice her and then be surprised and say "oh, hello, how are you?" Smile at her, and act like you have some pleace very important to go to. Women are drawn to myserious men who have something going for them and a place to go.

Sadly, although he might not be a living model, silver's right. Girls tend to be drawn to *******s, but thats the thing. It's not the ******* part they're drawn to, its other side factors.
Figure it out for yourself, you'll get it eventually. It's the confidence, pretend or not. Be yourself, and if you're lucky, yourself might be worth a date.
Havn't you ever thought WHY are girls attracted to *******s? No one likes a jerk, but they are better than clingy dudes. Girls like to know you dont revolve around them. They want to be 'part' of your life, not your whole life.
Sadly, being an ******* somehow conveys that.

i think women tend to like confident men. being clingy is certainly not confident. even some affections that some guys think is being the nice guy is really just showing lack of confidence and self-worth as well. girls get mixed up with a-holes because they mistake the behavior for confidence. go for the ones that are smart enough to discern the difference.

they are all good at covering it up, untill they freak out because you put to much ketchup next to your fries and it made the plate unbalanced so now she has to cook more chicken.
I don't think I have to worry about that. I think this one will keep ticking till atleast the summer...she can blow up then.
Strangely enough someone who ordered business cards from me called me shortly after lunch to ask me to have dinner with them.
