i think fk only allows age appropriate content dude so i think you will need to take down that link. warning or no warning
Yeah, it perfectly fine to blow people up, but no boobies please.
I didn't know that. How to take down that link?
No adult content allowed. I removed link.
Absolutely. :rolleyes:Quote:

what a pity and I finally hoped for some variety here, because there is way to many kid stuff here (wacraft, RPG, MMRPG,...)
Jeez guys you could have 'accidentally' left the link there for a couple of nights.
What's wrong with boobies?
...-Wondering if there's any money in making naughty games-..
I think there´s even more money in that buisness as in the casual entertainment industry, simply because there isn´t that much competition and because the internet still consists 80+% of porn
Not so sure myself.... The lucrative side of the interactive adult market is gambling, not porn.
Until interactive entertainment achieves a certain level of realism, you won't be able to compete with a naked girl* and a camera in terms of entertainment value.
*or naked bloke, donkey, car exhaust, whatever gets you going....
without the link the threat is pointless... I wanted to have some advice and guidance regarding my project. If the game contains violent action and images it is OK, but if it contains sex scene...
Whatever... would like to be deleted if this is possible of course
Well you can always check 'Link removed - Tony' or 'Link removed - Tony' if you want some boobies. Or for some real harcode ' - Tony'! Check 'Link removed - Tony' out. And offcourse after that, you can always check by at 'Link removed - Tony' for some serious ' - Tony'.
Why would you do that Saphua... lol
lol at saphua
I have to say that I went to newgrounds and found the game.
hahaha
I don't have anything critical to say. A masterpiece.
And people wonder why flash has a bad rep as being a low-end platform... sheesh.
Thanks Tony. I am a grandpa and I play games with my grand children. Those who want to see sex on the net can go to adult sex sites.
Fixed. :)Quote:

Sadly we live in a world where AMERICANS get upset over a sex scene in a game where your objective is to steal cars, deal drugs and kill police officers.
Completely unfair "school ethics" if you are a dumb large, football player probably with an alcohol/drug problem you are a god amongst men, if you are a regular/good student with a regular body you are a Wimp, geek loser and desserve as much ridicule as you can get. Even TEACHERS (specially coaches) teach kids the "winner/loser" formula.
Not to mention how Loose the ethics of most americans is, is a sin to kill, revenge is not ok, but is totally ok to go to war to some foreign country and kill whoever you are told in revenge of what someone else (not the person you are killing mind you) did about a decade ago?
Oh .. but if we manage to keep kids from playing an M rated game, everything is going to be just fine.
BTW, they just released info that the Vtech killing (worst massacre ever in the US) had NOTHING to do with violent video games or entertainment of any kind (and a lot to do with wrongful gun laws since the killer got the guns despite having a mental illness record), how much media coverage did that fact got? heres a hint: NONE.
Wow AzraelKans, you carry that soapbox around with you everywhere you go?
As much as I'd enjoy shreadding your inaccurate and opinion-laden post in a public debate, I don't have the time and this is not the place for it. Let's get back to some video game talk here :)
It is a funny world where a pair of love parcels are distained ( In the context of a game ) more than multiple murder.
That killing is more of a natural pastime in a game than a naked body.
And yet I'm a hypocrite as much as anyone else, I don't think games featuring sexual content, no matter how mild, should be posted here and yet I've got no qualms about shooting a dozen people in the name of entertainment.
Perhaps it's 'cause murder is a lot more removed from real life ( I'll never go down a big green pipe to collect gold coins either ( Although I've had some pretty mental mushrooms in my time )), that's it something we'd never ever consider, where as most of us will cop a bit of a perve when the coast is clear.
Squize.
i know what my next thread's title will be
If a game had a romantic/sexual theme that was handled properly without rape or any kind of perversion invoved, it would probably be popular with both men and women.
Suprised nobody has mentioned Leisure Suit Larry yet.
I suppose I'm biased, the first flash game I ever saw/played was sex invaders.
Maybe I've been mentally scarred by that seminal (ahem) experience.
What could be worse than boobies in a Flash game?
POSER boobies in a Flash game!!
blaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!
Webgeek: Oops! sorry I forgot to place the "rant" warning in there, please do shred that to pieces, I would love to get rid of that idea I got since I watched "bowling for columbine" is something that really makes me feel inconfortable. Unfortunately Im afraid is not possible because is (at least in part) true. Oh.. and for the record Im not American (or from England/britain) so that should explain If I got it all wrong. :D (or if I just have a different perspective) But lets try to put that in the backburner for a moment.
Anyway going back to gaming, I think the problem is that videogames have always been associated with violence of some kind, after all the first video game ever was called "space wars" and one of the most succesful videogames back in the time was "space invaders" which involved killing aliens trying to invade earth. Since the violence was pretty unbelievable it was tagged "ok" by censors. Mario crushing turtles heads didnt turned the censors head either. (some people did complaint on pacman "canivalism" though)
However the first "Adult game" (at least a known one), was that crappy game from atari where some cowboy had sex with a native american, and it was largely promoted as "ADULT" and porn.
So over the years censors have learned that Sex in games involved some degree of "porn" but violence only desserved a rating depending on the gore involved if theres no gore then violence is basically ok. (pretty much the same hapenned with TV and movies actually)
So yeah a game is rated "M" no matter how much gore it has (manhunt per example) unless theres some sex, then is porn.
You also have to remember that in the back of the head of politicians and ( a few parents) games are ALWAYS aimed at kids, they just cant get around the idea that some games are made for people around THEIR age not their children age.
Oh btw is a rumor: but Ive heard the reason why manhunt 2 got canned is not all the extreme killing, but a porn movie that appears blurred out in the background ( with explicit sound though) in a certain scene. Apparently some guards were watching it. They cut out that scene (and some others involving sex) to get the "M" rating. You can check the review of the "uncut" version at gameDaily.
Weird world. :P
no it´s because the game and its precessor are just sick and gore games. Killing without reason in a realistic manner (not guns or alike but really sick stuff) with only depressing images is not something kids should play at all.Quote:

wow this thread has become way off topic,- I guess the thread starter did not ask for nothing to close this thread right away
Michael Moore is a complete moron. Please never watch anything he ever does if you are going to walk away from it thinking 'wow, this is how americans really are!'
Moore is purely junk journalism. He will put anything on film as long as it gets a big reaction, the truth has nothing to do with it. The editing he incorporates in his final products is ridiculous and repeatedly implies things that are entirely not true and taken WAY WAY out of context. I even agree with the points he is trying to make much of the time, but the way he does it borders on criminal slander/libel IMO.
As far as violence and sex in games goes, it should not be treated differently than other media. In that regard the treatment of gaming sex and nudity is improper. M is the gaming version of R. So an M rated game logically should be able to be as sexually graphic as an R rated movie. And there are some SERIOUSLY graphic R rated movies out there.
As far as this forum? I would not expect someone to post a link to the movie showgirls or Monster's Ball here, so I would also not expect someone to post a link to a sexual flash game either.
Unfortunately, a post to a clip from "Shootem up" would be right at home here.
And it isn't just American culture. It's all over the internet as well. And the internet is hardly "American"
@Alluvian: is that your way understanding your country or understanding others? The internet is strongly inspired by american culture namely games & movies, but to think that everyone ticks like that is just short minded
I think it is closed minded to think any group thinks in any given way. At best they are VERY broad stereotypes, rarely accurate to start with, and never complex enough for any kind of real understanding.
Applying any stereotype to an individual is idiocy. Hopefully everyone is aware of that.
Azrael, don't make generalizations based on watching one "documentary". Every country, community, or "special interest group" each have their issues, and it's usually much more complex than one simple generalization can ever explain.
If you want boobies in your video games, go play God of War (M rated! how bout that!!)
Ray Beez: Amen to that! yes I cant figure out how god of war got all the nudity without an "A" rating but Im glad it did. Hmm.. because is good for games as an art form dont get me wrong. (btw the cinemas in god of war 2 are beyond beautiful, the entire game is amazing)
WhOoops! sorry about mentioning Michael Moore, yes I know the guy is into yellow press and sensationalism, but Im afraid I do agree with some points in that movie (not all of them of course) and I dont think it applies for ALL americans mind you, Im not that closed minded.
RenderHJ: We will see when we can compare the netherlands uncut version with the american version, one thing is sure, they will both suck (like the first manhunt) besides is just a rumor anyway. But knowing how the ESRB works I wouldnt be surprised if it held some water.
---------------
Hmmm.. back to topic, I think nudity and even sex is ok in a videogame as soon as it does not become the central theme or goal, same thing goes for violence. IMHO
Hey since we are in the topic, let me share this with you guys.
Ive always have the idea to make a game about a guy dating girls then getting them to bed, your objective would be to "fall in love" with every single girl in an apt building and learning how to charm them. A strange mixture between leisure larry and pokemon. Of course there wouldnt be any explicit sex scenes (like in leisure larry) to keep the comedy vibe on. Instead you'd get a "reward scene" like those in megaman where you get a new weapon! :P :D of course you would eventually find the "perfect girl".
I even had a name like Cex Ed (as in Sex education) for it.
Unfortunately I dont think I would ever have the time to do it, since Ive got a mountain of projects and theres no way to pitch it here at work. So if you are looking for a design idea, well by all means. I could even throw a small design doc if you give me some time and credit. :D
Sounds like most Hentai games, except for the 'no explicit sex'.
I played the game, and it's just ridiculous. I'm all for boobies in games, but not really dicks.
Alluvian: Sorry Ive never played one of those :D. I did played leisure larry 1, 2, 3, and 5 to a good extent though.
Best comment in flashkit ever.Quote:

No Az, you are not nearly as sorry as you would be if you HAD played one of those. Revel in your blessed ignorance of that topic.
Well thanks Azrael, I'm glad to have posted an award winning comment, lol. I guess when crazy **** happens, thats when award winning posts happen.
