ok..maybe i have played way too much halo 3, but here we go
anyone into a third round of high class photoshop battle vs. DQS?
max. 6 on 6, 48 hrs return time.....and a halo related theme maybe?

i would love to be part of the fk line up on this but theres no way I could commit to a 48 hr turnaround at the moment :( but i'm sure theres plenty of other members with the skills to go toe to toe with DQS again ;)

hmmm....i've yet to participate in a DQS battle...i'm ponderingthis one. although, i'm not 100% on the halo theme.
it doesn't have to be a halo theme....we are open for anything else

I've not played any Halo... So I've no idea what kind of imagery you're expecting.
Also how long should a person wait before bugging you about the sign up email?

Tried accessing the boards, was asked to sign up, signed up - no email to confirm my account.
hm..weird.
check your spam box... some mail filters can pick up forum emails as spam by mistake... happened to me in the past (but not with DQS of FK though ;) )

I've always wanted to show those DQS folk that I can muster and drop texturific imagery!
None of them over there ever wanted to play with me :( , I guess my skills were not up to par.
I've been busy consuming texturing books from the pros, like "New Masters of Photoshop: Volume 2" Can't wait to drop imagery!

Why even use a theme? Keep it random and make sure that it's not something that's from pre-existing images that have been made public... or private.

As far as I know we haven't determined any rules for the canvas size, etc., but I wanted to get this thing rollin' so I came up with the following. And if there is no set theme, then no one should have a problem with me opening with a little Halo action... :D

there's no theme, but just as all battles, you must use an element from our opponent.

Thanks guys. Glad to see some excitement in here. :) Hopefully this will go at least a couple of rounds.
That is a very sweet image. The only thing I have against it is the size of the canvas, but the detail and texture are very impressive.

In regard to the canvas size, I've got no problem with changing it if that's what people want to do. My choice was pretty arbitrary.
canvas size is perfect. rotation should be allowed.
