I just need to say that I am in utter awe of the image that were submitted.....there is not a mediocre one in the lot. I have my faves, but damn! they are all good!!

I have to second EVP, some of this images are above and beyond what I was expecting. Great work again this round, fellas!

Oh, wow... I just noticed that stock E didn't have a picture from either entrant. I guess that means whoever wins this one and would have gone up against either of those two gets a free ride next round. *mumbles obscenities* :p
Even without any images, I imagine one of the two will get more votes than the other and proceed to the next round. :) If they both get no votes, it's a tie which requires a tie braker, no? In which case, maybe one of them will wise up and submit *something* and win by default. Blimey!Quote:

I'm a little upset at the people who bailed though, gives those of us who had the time to work on an image a bitter taste. Granted, we lost out in the first round, but if you commit to MM, you better commit.

It was very hard to choose on some of these parings, especially:
IMAGE F2: ... What can I say about this piece, subtle texturing, stunning layout, striking use of colour all blended to give an eerie air; brought to the fore by imaginative wording to give it a truly sinister feel.

I couldnt choose at first, two very different images, both beautifully done.
Image one was so serene, so calm and yet had so many little elements tht make it striking, again the use of colour and texture made this piece lovely.
Well done to both in this paring.
A: Again, wowed by use of element in both these images.
Image two: Wow. Just wow.
The monotone colouring, the repetition of figures to bring across conformity, and the placement of each of these figures. Not to mention the superb brush work and blending.

I can't wrap my head around how much went into this piece.
Manipulation of lighting, blending, choice of stock... All beautifully blended into what looks to be a seamless, simple yet astoundingly striking piece.

Where on Earth is my submission? I worked super hard on that thing damnit. :( Was I supposed to send it to EVP? This competition is one of the most random events I've ever had to sign up for. I'd rather drop acid and try to do algebra.
Did you submit it to Dricciotti and EVPohovich? Dricciotti is out of town at the moment so EVP was handling the submissions.

I'd bet that CI's image was the one submitted three hours late (going off of the circular motif going on (ferris wheel in the first image / tire spokes in the second)) so I say quick revote if that's the case. Even if we have to postpone the next round a day that's OK. CT's probably going to win this round and he's up for Roll Canvas.

What the... hell? I gave valid reasoning. I guess my wording did come off like I was trying to play the blame game. I aplogize for that, I didn't mean to sound hostile. I was just trying to say that Zacaboo may not have been the only one that had made a mistake. This competition has been rather shakey in terms of coordination.
Next year we need a better plan and a backup plan that everyone's aware of from the start incase the host needs to take a leave of abscence
Right, a few people didnt follow the rules. But when you go and assume I didnt follow the rules just because my image had a ferris wheel on it...that's kind of lame.
Again, if everyone feels that Zac should have a revote, i'm completely fine with it. Just dont base it on the assumption that my image was late...when in fact busted my ass on it for a few hours and got it in Saturday morning, well before the deadline.

I know, it was just an "if" scenario. "If CI had submitted his three hours late, then for those that think there should be a revote, here's a justification (not the wheel, but the lateness if that was your image)..."
From a technical standpoint, my vote goes for you to win by default even if you had submitted it three hours late. Zacaboo should have brought this up a little sooner.
Again, I aplogize for the wheel theme ever being mentioned, and congrats on making it to round three. :D
