maybe @ 2 other computers: isnt flash 8 installed; security options disallow flash to work; they use other browsers thay may take wrong swf adress because of upper/lowercase, spaces or other weird signs in the filename.

strange. loading stoppped @ 38%...
I found 2 things. The pics took a few seconds to come up and I have lightning speed connection. So if the have dial up, it may take awhile for the pic to load. Also you have nothing removing the pics after I viewed them. I went to "Ask the Pro" and it came up but under the pics. You need something to remove the pic when they go to another menu item.Quote:

I tried changing it from flash 8 to flash 6....not sure if that will help or not
When I did the slideshow, I didn't embed the pictures in the swf....so I changed that, and hope it helps.

the line ddrawing shows immediately, they could at least fade. the same is with text.
theres also a thin line overr growing phots.
there are some issues with scrolling background
i bet it would look much better fullscreen.
anyway, its a very cool idea.
The initial drawing is part of the preloader, single image, if I fade it in it will be much bigger. Not sure where the lines are coming from, they are not on the images I used, and they dont always appear. Will try the full screen idea. Not sure what you mean about background.
the scrolling sometimes doesnt look good. i mean suddenly showing up some high edges...
Gr8 idea Stoke.Just one suggestion.Those guys and gals buttons should have some kind of over state so we can figure out that those are buttons!When i opened a page, a saw them and said "now what?".Then i reloaded a page and figured out the catch.

Yep, I know what you mean, only thing was, beacuse its graphics heavy to include another state was going to add to the overall file size. Its only work in progress at the moment, so I'll take all your comments onboard for the next version. Thanks.
Stoke, this looks really good. I like the concept. I'd have to agree you need some sort of over state indication. I think if you import the images into the symbol library and then use them in the button states and just add a drop shadow or thin vector line, you don't increase the file size. Give that a shot as that is what I understand the library's best asset,maybe Bob could verify this is the case.
Update: just tested and cannot use Library Item inside of a button. If you use clickable movieclips as buttons should work though

background is a bit too dark and text too small so whole site is a bit unreadable.
player skin on folio doesnt fit whole site.
anyway i think that posting several different SWF's on different html pages isnt good.
there arent also any preloaders on subpages.

videos loads cool. anyway, they could have a bit smaller bitrate (~228 kb/s) so they would load 'on fly' even on slower connections.
and i love the logo. the font is very popular and the shadow is also,. but it just looks good.

when i posted couple sites a long time ago, i didnt want anything like 'its great, its cool' because it wont help make it better, so i force myself to find any deficiences.
and when I post something, i want advanced and constructive critique, and thats the way i treat others submissions. anyway, it really doesnt matter.
Its all a question of taste Ant, but remember people like to hear what's good too.
By the way based on the feedback I got, Ive made a few changes as you guys suggested here

what about your site, text sometimes doesnt fit to the place for it and there are some noisy pixels on images.

Dont think I was getting moody! :p what you were looking at was only work in progress, the rectangle was a guide I used to mark some referance points, not in the completed version. If you look here you can see a much more complete point. :thumbsup:
so... its cool, but i have to scroll (horizontally, 1024x768/Opera).
low background green is too vivid for me, and dark green is too dark cause i cant read the text on it.
maybe the vividity of background is a mark of monitor setting...
