update: I've made the text-appear script. hows this:

I've also made a really basic inertia for the scrolling based on mouse position which really needs fancy-ing up... in the mean time, what changes do i need to make to the text appear script?
edit: squid, I cant upload yet. Im waiting for a decision from nordberg (ill explain later...)

if the flash thing isn't finished/implimented don't worry bout it... just upload this beast! :D
it's sort of my fault, as well as wouter's and thewaste's (only because he's the boss). wouter modified the last 100 pixels of my image instead of just picking up where it left off. i decided that it wasn't fair for my image to be compromised due to someone else's mistake, so i modified his image as a fix. since that isn't fair either, we are back to waiting for wouter to fix/redo his volley correctly.
i agree about the flash thing and the text - just post that 7800 pixel image baby! :)
or, you could just blame canada!
like nord said, we are just waiting for repairations (or a responce) from wouter. He probably hates me at the moment but its really up to him what happens now... otherwise its not going to be fair.
I could just upload the whole image... but then i would get lazy and not bother with the flash. and that would be bad because everyone wrote bios and it would have wasted their time. on the other hand, im pretty busy with my tafe starting up soon and things are pretty hectic.
If things keep being really busy like this i will just have to cancel the flash. But would someone else pick it up where i left off? or should I just simply upload the image with bio's (as plain text) at the bottom and put it online that way? (html with tables/formatting...)

If it's going to take you a week or so to get this thing going, I'd just post the images in a wide table format. You can add the bios and such below each volley as fine print (don't want to detract from the images). Heck, if you want I'll throw togeter a template for you real quick ... and even host the beast. Just let me know.
