It look like one big onion skin to me. Nothing is moving.

BAH!
I've been rolling in terms of sketching and thinking... I need to get a stylus pen, and a new apartment/and or a/c- then I'll be back in the game.
I need to come here more often, some interesting stuff being posted lately.
Yojo. Your Mad scientist is great. Very smooth, Nice Style.
Here's a small animation I've started. It's nothing much yet. This Is the first real Flash I've done.
Fish.swf
Any Feedback?
Cheers
hehe. I think its funny. Thats great for a first time!
Hi. Um... I've been animating for probably 6 years (if you can call what I do animation.) I do a cartoon called "The Atom Kappa Show" and "The Sword That Cuts Things". They include a lot of video game humor and stuff. I found this thread and I thought I'd post the link here if anyone would like to check them out. I know the animation isn't fantastic, I try to make mine more about humor than actual animation. I was just wondering what everyone thought of it. The url is:
www.kappacino.com
just click on the "animations" tab and it will bring up the ones that i have done. I must warn you, I really didn't know what i was doing in some of the earlier ones.
Thanks in advance for any comments.
My very first hand drawn animation. The basic bouncing ball test:

That's awesome! Traditional animation... I need to go back to school...
Aimlessly animated some crap in the last couple months...

Oh yeah: http://toastybuns.monfster.com/ani/waawoo.html
nice stuff fiddle. my fav is the one with the flying thing
my second hand drawn animation. I know that it has a few problems but it is because I had to rush the animation to make it to the deadline
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1..._floursack.jpg
:mrpimp: Awesome! 06! everyone is so damn improved it's ridiculous! I should've kept coming here... it's like seeing a fat relative from way back to find that they're even fatter. Only in a world where the lean sink and the buoyant thrive... some sort of Waterworld.
Those hand-drawn animations are awesome, arikb.
What's the frame rate on the one with the sack jumping around? And how many frames total?
24 fps, but in some parts it is running on twos. it has around 110 frames. I think it has around 70 drawings total without counting the holded frames
Cool, thanks. I was just wondering what it took to get that nice smooth motion. Very Disney-esque. :)
as a matter of fact my ani teacher worked for disney. He was the SFX animator of mulan and lilo & stitch among other movies.
Right on, dude. His influence is evident in your work. :)
another one. I must say that im not happy with most of the resullts. If i had more time I would have prolly made something better. Still, i like a few things about it like the first splash and the fire although it could use more inbetweens
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1.../th_splash.jpg
That's pretty cool. I'm glad you told me it was fire, though. That part goes by so fast it's kind of hard to tell what it is even when I know. :) Having him hop up and down before diving in might give the viewer a little more time to figure out what's going on.
f*cking awesome
I wonder if there are any traditional animation resources available to the less educated public...
i know, i know. but I really was in a hurry to finish it. I finished it 30 minutes before the college closed on saturday.Quote:

Thanks,

Here's something we did last week just before Halloween. Be sure to pump up the volume from the beginning.
http://www.toondoctor.com/halloweencard.htm
greenbackjack: funny idea. The animation could be improved by making it more fluid. i like the camera effects. the drawings could also be better.
toon doctor: maybe you should add a few seconds in the end because it ends too abruptly, but otherwise i like its good
my first walk cycle. YAY!! I dunno why when I uploaded it it became whiter....
http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1..._walkcycle.jpg
That's cool... I've always wanted to be able to make a decent walking sequence.
This is a bit violent, so yep.
http://toastybuns.monfster.com/ani/poop.html
Just a little more work to do, obviously, might add some frames, and if I'm feeling EXTRA saucy I'll try to up it to 24 fps.. I usually make the mistake of only keyframing climatic moments and just sort of unaturally linking it to another uneventful key frame. It really makes for terrible animations. I'm trying to fix that.
a bit?
lol. nice job
thanks

many more frames to go, also, there's one frame where the guys body isn't present... it's difficult to actually spot, but it just fudges the whole damned thing... it's when he punches the missile (the second one)
That's weird, man. It's like a surreal IUD ad. :D
thats cool
here i come with more traditional animations:

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...uma/th_run.jpg
a new assignment where I had to put two different walks together on this horse costume

condensed video of old animations + about 5 seconds of real new animation.
Old as well. I don't really know what I've posted and where, but I'm sure I posted the first one here YEARS ago. I'm just taking advantage of the youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKlMbzHsLNY
i incorporated flash animation with live action footage and compiled them all in Final Cut. I'd be happy to field any questions about this process.
Boy, what kind of drugs do you have to take before you start seeing stuff like that, dude? :p
Nice work though, DVflash. Plenty of wierd and an equal portion of cool. :D:thumbsup:
i like how the parts of the face turn around :)
A walk cycle

This was my last animation assignment which was a 5-10 second animation with lip synch. The quality of the image is a little bad but it still works
