Ok, I'm really sorry. I can't apologize enough... I had completely forgotten about this until Gerb's pointed it out to me that I'm not paying attention as normal. After I got over my flu I spent the weekend meeting with the families financial gurus and college reps... I feel like a little **** for not doing this... Is Nayades going to go now? I don't mind if I get kicked out (I deserve it now :p), edit

this battle has died in the arse a bit, no big deal tho. to me (only speaking for myself) it would be preferable if you still vollyed... just throw one up and keep this thing moving.
unless of course you can't in which case we can just move it along nicely.

Okay, things are way to slow. I vote we change this game into a more free-for-all style.

Everyone is now back in game. Previous entrants, amended players, time consumers... everyone.
If you want a turn, call for it before anyone else does. There will be no queue. If you don't have a volley up 24 hours after calling it, you wont be able to submit. Ideally, you should only call for a spot if you have time to make a volley at that moment.
The second a volley is submitted to the 'volleys only' thread, players are again allowed to call for their turn.
This should keep the thread fast, regularly visted, as long as we want, and very, very interesting.

In my eyes, changing the name of the game now is a slap in the face to those who kept their end up and submitted on time. I say we keep it going, just move on to nayades. Who cares if a partcipant goes a couple days over deadline without realizing? We're getting close to the completed canvas. I would tend to think that one of the big reasons this thing has slowed so much is not necessarily because it was started up again too soon, but because of *cough* "other events" going on in the Arena that are stealing the RollCanvas' thunder.
Not sure I understand the rules, but I have some time later today. I need to get in on something here.........WAY too dead lately. Except for the Themed Photography thread ;)
I'm not sure I want to go first though, unless no one steps up.

To clear things up, no, this isnt a new game, just a change of rules to quicken the current rollcanvas up. So im not really cutting this thread off... just making it go faster.

one question with the free for all... when will the final image be posted? or would each complete volley be posted each time?
also, i have to agree with ondraedan on the slap in the face thing. lets finish this one... even if it does take a few skips and extra days, then reasses the situ when its done.

nayades, its been more than two days. thanks for telling us you were going to be away. next time, tell someone that you're busy so we can decide what to do with your turn, insted of making everyone wait longer for a turn.

if i didn't tell anyone it's just because i completely forgot about this ( march madness and vector battle with wout used up my spare time + i was one of the last ones in a 20 people row, so i wasn't checking everyday, i'll admit it).

why is it that after 30 minutes of waste's comment nayades shows up from a 2 or 3 day absense? :P
and lefteye... yes, you are building off flashpenguins volley. turn around time is prefferably a day or two but if we know were actually gonna get a volley three should be acceptable.
