Davo. The complicated thing is that I know I am far far better than any of the guys she has dated in the past. They were deadbeat dropout kind of guys. I've got a good career, I don't hit her, I'm caring, compassionate, etc. (refer to Clark's site for more information)
But the point is that I'm not worried about that, just that she will be miserable if she ever cheat on me or something, because i will not take her back. Then I feel bad for her messing it all up.
Well, I'd rest easy in the knowledge that the majority of people haven't met their life partner before the age of 25.
So don't stress about it. As DP said, some things you can't control so no use stressing over them, enjoy the here and now.
But did take me a while to realise that, so can't think badly of you.
I think you never really know how you will respond until (and if) the situation arises. If you love her, and she loves you, then somehow things would sort themselves out for the best.Quote:

Life can be very strange (and full of joy and pain), and you are entering probably the best 20 year period, with all of your best and most intense experiences still to come, so be prepared.

I started to read this thread but skipped alot of pages... i won't spend more than 5 minutes reading any thread.
Damn, that sounds too eerily like my experience of the past year or so...Quote:

Says the man who married young and has probably avoided ever having his ass handed to him by anyone!Quote:
