BTW, for those who were asking about my rainbow train image, guess I never gave an answer. Well I still got nothin' useful to say, but here are the PSDs:

The stocks of earth and the stars were huge images from NASA, the originals are embedded in the PSDs.

Hope that helps someone. I think the real 'trick' was putting it in outer space -- everybody loves a good space scene. ;) I've heard the cardinal rule of 3D demo reels is to avoid space scenes altogether; it's too easy to make them look cool and agencies know this. :)
PS - this was originally made with Fireworks so some of the editability in PS is lost, and a lot of the names won't be familiar(ie all the "Path" layers), but it should look the same. A few blend modes don't have direct equivalents in PS also, but I didn't see any noticeable difference when I opened it in PS.
