My browser isn't bringing up Image A, pairing 2 on post A. I tried to just open the picture from the url, but it seems to be broken or not there

Also, there is a message at the top of the voting pages "This poll will close on 02-28-2006 at 12:20 PM" Shouldn't that be the 26th?

edit edit: Here's a question for ya. Is it more customary to post png's? I saw something in the roll canvas thread saying that they wanted png's.

Yeah, pairing A, image 2 on the round 1a thread isn't showing. Dri, I have a Pro Flickr account. If you want, I can host all the images there.

Yeah, these need to be hosted on a specified server, as you can just right click and view image to see where they are hosted, and figure out who's they are ;)

Two or three images arent hosted my server because I am on the road right now and imageshack was easier. To be honest guys, it doesnt make a difference.

The images that arent showing up dont exist. I put the link to the image as it would be had the person actually submitted it... but they never did. I'll go through and make it say "<no image>" to make it less confusing.

ok guys, don't forget you have to vote for each one in a pairing and then hit vote/submit.

Do this for both of the Preliminary Rounds and Groupings...

theres a bunch that have the users name in it. some more noticable then others.. i didnt look hard till after i voted tho.

Loved the text on gerbick's volley that time, by the way. Shows you how much thought he puts into his images.

I noticed some names as well. Were we not supposed to keep from identifying the creator in these.

Great images peeps. Can't wait for the next round.

In the future, I'd truly suggest that people don't place too many names into their offerings. I did get away with a mention of "gerbick industries" in round 1 of last year, so it's only fair that they get away with it in this round 1 of this year.

and glad to see that I wasn't the only person that thought one of the images looked "similar"... still very cool though.

Hopefully the confusion some are experiencing in the prelims will help smooth out the later rounds.

Going through last years thread got me rather hyped-up, now. I didn't have a chance to take a look before I even posted anything. :P (No internet at home... thank goodness for sympathetic households)
