My god, Jägermeister is... like mad cheap in Germany. It's like Mad Dog 20/20 cheap in most places.
However... there are better beers man. You hit on each and every domestic that I would avoid unless you liked beer - that's somewhat watered down (all but the Sam Adams).
Seriously, beer isn't for everybody. Neither are white liquors. Or brown liquors. So stick to whatever you like.
