Just to let you all know,
Gerbs very kindly allowed me to have another stab at the canvas...
...which I just turned in late.
Sorry to keep you all waiting but real life got in the way.

I have the feeling this'll be well worth the wait.
I'll post onine's entry once I get the right format.
<getting excited>
gerbs, are you next...and then that's it?
yep. I'll be the end.
i realy wont to see this. carnt wait *woohoo*
And the rollcanvas will be done with any seconds now...
Onine's 100px is up, and I'll start on the very last image hopefully by tomorrow. Finally got my machine up and running with Photoshop.
woot!
can't wait for the grand unveiling...!
* it'll be time for the next one soon! ;)
points, laughs...Quote:

i wouldn't mind seeing a normal mural battle, you know, without all the blind leaves. regular murals don't need neutral party help (a.k.a. moderators).
can't wait to see it gerbs...
the next big thing we are doing is a calendar correct? then march madness, then next summer would be the canvas
i vote calendar
nice looking leave there Onine ;)
actually took a few seconds looking at it with an tilted head as it looked kind of weird at first glance (you know like what dogs do when their confused :p ).... then I realised the image has yellow at the top and it blended into FK a little which made it look like the image sat crooked on the page... :D
Very nice!
just letting you guys know that I'm pretty much halfway done with the final image... when I go home later today, I'll try to finish up, if not before tomorrow morning.
Work is kicking my ass right now.
Cant wait to see it gerblet...seriously, i'm dying over here. Actually, i think my image sucked so i'm not really dying to see it...take your time.
cant be any worse then mine.
When is it going up?
Just curious.
Its been almost 9 months.
nepzap, I just posted this yesterday.Quote:

oh boy, the amount of bandwidth i have wasted re-checking this thread. :scared:
it goes without saying, but i'm SOOO looking forward to the final drop.
yep, i'm as ready as a presenting baboon.
Sunday guys... Sunday.
Sorry for the last delay; however I've had back to back to back 14, 12, and 16 hour work days due to a project getting pushed up 4 weeks.
Dude, no worries, gerbs, just thanks for getting this rolling again. Looking forward to the finale.
I should be able to finish tonight, but if not, there will only be one more day... I'm still catching up with sleep and trying to avoid a cold now it seems.Quote:

I'm down with waiting until everything is polished and ready for presentation. Throwing a "rough" version down is adding more work. I say take your time, gerbick, take care of your body, your other work, etc. And if it's soon enough that you're still "avoiding" the cold, I recommend some Echninacea (liquid form seems to work the best.) I catch colds easily but when my co-workers are hacking and sneezing around me, I drop about half an eye-dropper of Echninacea in some orange juice every 4 hours or so and I can stay clean and healthy until the outbreak is finally gone.
We made it this far, we can wait a few more days for your final version -- heck, a few more weeks wouldn't even be a big deal considering. ;) Take your time, finish when you have time, don't kill yourself, and when it's fully done we'll all do the super mod appreciation dance or something.Quote:

J/k.. today, tomorrow or next month, we still love you..

New Comp!
Who can post the best "waiting for rollcanvas" image?
Personally, I think I'm currently in the lead with silver a close second and Googooboyy is in third.
I can't believe I'm third. Thats it, no more soccer playah pics for FK....
Considering that I didn't see Nord's pic before coming with the idea for mine, it's really quite astounding that they are so similar, even down the angle of view. Oh well...
I was just going to do a simple rough sketch, then it turned into a clean line drawing, then I added a splash of color, and from there I couldn't stop until everything had color and shading. :D

I'm not whining about this not being done yet or anything, I just thought this would be a fun pic to make. :)
Well... as it stands, this will be up before Monday - I have an unique finish for it.
And if Genesis doesn't turn in his finished version, his image will go up unedited and incorrect.
As far as the other prior members that turned in images that didn't quite match and EVP had requested it over and over... it's also going up unedited and uncorrected.
dude, that is amazing. i couldn't make that if my life depended on it. mine is from a google search...all of 15 seconds from conception to execution. crazy similar though.Quote:

And here it is cleaned up with no colors applied yet. As you can see I decided to update the furniture a little bit, heheh. It's mostly a matter of just doing one piece at a time, and some of the elements are deceptively simple. The desk for example is just two filled vector shapes with a gradient layer style applied to it and another layer for the detail lines. :D
