You're right about the other thread.

I like the shots especially the Subaru. Can you tell me what camera you have and how you find it performs. Are you happy with the quality generally?

yeah nice pics guys. I have had some problems with my dial-up account at home so viewing pics was out of question plus have been very busy with work.
But am glad to see this thread is still alive and growing.
I will post some new pics as soon as I find time in the next few days. :)
i'm using a fuji a201 digital camera with a 64 mb memory card...
I set the quality to low, so that is how I could manage to put 140 pics on one card..
it is pretty good for some simple shots but don't expect it to be great..
I'm now trying to find some money to buy are real digital camera such as a canon eos-d100 or a minolta..
took a picture of my window a little while ago.
Oh wow the thread works. Now what?
Moderator?
I'll merge it with the other one :)
Glad to see its back on
a
the thread has been merged (see previous page)

Might make it a sticky if everyone agrees
a
making it a sticky would be a good idea, so people who might not know about the thread can contribute (i'd have more photos but lately its been too cold, and muddy, halfmelted snow half ice is not good photo material)
I agree....Like anything that is easier to do...:D
Thanks
ok thanks guys -
a :)
Thanks Every Body

nice pics in this thread. My apologies for not coming back to post my pics for so long -- been busy with work, etc. :(
Here are a few pics -- nothing dramtic:
Recently scanned and was taken a few years ago at a safari park. Used Nikon TW100 (before the days of digicams!)

Taken on a plane on way to London for a weekend. Used Nikon CoolPix 775.

Early in the morning and waiting in vain for the train to appear to take me to work. :)

Heavy fog on another day -- also waiting for the bugger train.

I hope by summer, I will have "Four season" themed picture -- watch this space.
My apologies if the above pictures are rather undramtic but I am a bit bored. :) As soon as I get more free time, I will upload better pics... hopefully sometime this week
edit: if you want a larger resolution on my pics, just say so.

nice pics -- especially the snow ones. Although I found the dogs' fight section a bit disturbing, I thought *** is a very powerful image showing the dog's face -- like after a boxing match. :(Quote:

All taken this past weekend in Toronto, as you can see there was sun, and about bloody time! :)
some nice macro shots in there :D
Yeah i'm bit of a macro fiend. :p
ohhh love macro lenses!
Never owned one - used to borrow them when i was at uni just like i did with the medium-format cameras.
Those were the days !
a
Me being think here, what's a Macro shot, a close up??
Yeah, it's so you can take really clear shots of objects upclose.

in a way yes.
not to be confused with the Macro zoom lenses - those don't allow significantly greater magnification than a 50mm normal lens and they deliver low quality.
