Standard asian overacting. cheesy cgi but somewhere in it is a heck of a plotline.
was coming from Melbourne to Dubai and As usual can NOT sleep during the 14 hours flight so I watched some Tele, first three episodes of Psychoville, which is Weird to say the least, but some how grabbed my attention and wasted about an hour of the flight, so I rate it Meh..
Just got done watching SGU's subversion episode. I wouldn't call it BSG but I will say the show has finally got into high gear.
Rumour is Eureka is coming back after a 9 month hiatus. Bout damn time, but they are going to have to jump the shark to jump start the show. I'm hoping they don't pull a nothern exposure
Just finished season 2 of Supernatural. Can't believe I didn't hear more about this show until Silver turned me on to it. Extremely well told story so far and better horror quality than most movies.
Another amazing episode of Breaking Bad last night. May very well be my favorite show of all time.
Damn I need to see it! Next week is the finale right? :(
I hope not. I don't want to wait a season for new episodes. :)

True Blood season 3 premier on Sunday. Can't friggin wait.
Yeah rumor is that is was only supposed to be 3 seasons. I think it would be awesome to end it on a high note and not let it drag out but I think the writing team for this show and the direction it's going could stay intense for a few more seasons.
Just went searching for answers and found this quote right from the creator of the show.

Just watched the newest ep of Breaking Bad last night. As good as always. I can't believe the next ep is the last for the season. It's definitely building up to a good finale. It will go another season if not 2 more very strongly with how everything is developing and then I can see it closing out with a bang.

@ Anna Paquin comments. I don't watch the show but do manage to find all the naked parts online each and every Monday. She is probably the least attractive (frequently naked) female on that show.
Breaking Bad ended just as I had imagined it. I didn't know exactly what would go down but it ended perfectly. Next season should start off with a bang.
Now I am totally free of TV as I don't have cable and there aren't really any shows I watch until the fall. Dexter should be awesome as always though.

I'd have to say the True Blood premier was kinda weak, but I think both prior seasons started that way too. The very first episode made me hate the show with a passion, but after the demonic sh*t that went down the second half of season 2 I give the show a wide margin of error.
watching him run through the woods at the end made me think of blues clues, the quality was That bad.
It's supposed to be campy. Not Bram Stoker.

I've never really praised true blood for the effects. It's really the writing, situations and acting that make it good. I do remember thinking to myself while watching the premier that I would not like the show had I not scene the first two seasons.
evil dead 2 came out in 1987, the effects in 1987 were par for the course. It also didn't take itself seriously.Quote:

Are you saying that True Blood takes itself seriously? That's exactly why I enjoy it. It's a show that doesn't take itself seriously at all. It's just a wtf-was-that, not-much-to-think-about indulgence.

I watched all 13 episodes of Spartacus. Still on the fence as to how much of an achievement it was. On one side are the character stories. They intertwine extremely well. You are made to like and dislike just about everyone at some point and the climax/resolution are satisfying. On the other side is the Caligula-like style where every single character is nude at least once, in most cases carnally. Equally over the top are the language and bloodshed. It all feels gratuitous and uninspired for most of the series but actually blends in with the rest of the canvas towards the end. I would definitely watch a second season.
