thanks, Olly K! Yeah, I had an assignment at the start of the year to draw our hands in art class; I got really picky about all the details so now I just try to draw hands really detailed, plus this was a more detaily piece.. lol! Yeah, I always thought it looked kinda strange on the original, maybe I shoulda gone for the more cartoony look!
magnetos, that's wild. seriously, it's really cool. just kinda 2D, I'd say give her more depth.. like more glares on the legs/arms/hair... cool though! it's neat to see how other people work off of other people's work. did that make sense? :D
thanks tahn :)
here is an updated version

what for zoneboy??? it is so sweet! i love it !!!! how do you achieve those hairy lines??
seriously awesome man!! one of the best vector pieces ive seen.
not only well vectorised, but somehow you've achieved a sensation in it. it resembles a calm, ecstasy state. really good ;)
btw, cool down the arms'tone to the one of the face and neck, and it'll be perfect
BS man, you've ripped off my signature!!!:D:D lol, i luv that animated gif. and your title ;)
well an easy way to make it look more realistic would be to use the soften ,darken, and lighting tools from paintshop pro 7 or photoShop experiment with it and see if you like itQuote:

hey guys!
magnetos, cool bubbley/smokey effect. it would be a lot of work, but cool if you could get just chrome surroundings and then have the girl in chrome, but also in color.
zoneboy, sweeet vectoring! Awesome detail. I'd say add some tinting to her shirt and some (either gradient or shading) to her hair. looks AWESOME!
I just threw this together maybe half an hour, an hour ago...

use the left and right arrows on your keyboard to go through the 'pages'. it takes about half a minute to load the whole thing, but you can view the loaded 'pages' while the rest are loading.

Even I am, well my and my mate are trying to, should be up soon, hopefully! :D
