I haven't posted here for a while, I've been busy with college interviews and the animation exchange :D

All drawn in Flash, the firey creature was a sketch that I traced but the rest are just flash. :)

I really like the way you did the fire with the first one, the last one doesn't match with the blue though, oh well. Still, all looks quite good. :D

Urm, just keep calm.
With your porfolio explain what you've done don't sit there and wait for them to ask questions.
If you can't think of an answer straight off pause a bit, don't blag it.
I've had 3 for animation so far and I've got 1 for art foundation on Wed. :)
Good luck! It'll all go well, they're actually not as frightening as careers teachers make them out to be :D

Show reasearch and development pieces, that show different styles and other artist infulences.
also some of your personal work, like any sketches you do :)

Olly your creatures flat out rule, fantastic styles... these could really sell as plushies or something, ever think of it? i know 'horath' or someone here has done this before.... and yours are way way better!Quote:

I have thought of beanies or plushies of my characters, I would love them to be made into them! I actually know a toy maker really well but she charges lots for them because she puts a lot of effort and time in, maybe I'll save up and get her to make me some prototypes:)
For your kind comments I shall create for you your 1600x1200 wallpapers, I might take a while though sorry because i forgot to save the flash file so it'll be a re-construction jobby :)

Nice picture fiddle, the eyes in that really remind me of another artist's style though I can't think who.

melmann - your work is amazing, how long have you been drawing? how did you get so good? did you go to classes or what?
the eyes were influenced by a lot of classic (30's) animation.. as for the shine, that's an anime influence..
