one thing, though. I have two frames in my html file. How do I get the URL's to open in a frame named 'main'?

it's all object based, look at the example i gave, that opens a new url in the bottom frame, the menu was in the top frame, so if it's called 'main' you would want this:
parent.main.location.href
the bit in italics refers to where you want the url to open...
so in the code that blutimus sent you to change this:
