Nice work...very impressive. Was this all done in Swish or did you use flash anywhere? Just curious...either way looks great

So in effect you didn't retire, you just promoted yourself to full time design, good choice!

The trick to keeping swift 3d files small is to limit the number of polygons in the shape. The more angles a shape has, the more polygons it will require to draw the wireframe.Quote:

I do most of my vector graphics in Freehand, and most of my raster graphics in mediachance's Real Draw Pro.
As for keeping overall file size small, I use a maximum of 2 fonts per .swf, and I limit the use of raster (bitmap, gif, jpg, png) images as much as I can. I also optimize and trim all of my sounds.
I didn't use flash for any of this version yet...there's still forms to do. I might give Insane Flash Animator a try when I get to the forms to see ifit's easier than flash in that aspect.Quote:

Most of it was done with swish, with a little Swift3d, Flix, and Freehand .swf sprinkled in.

I've had the same problem. I've been waiting until most of the layout is done before I put the swift3d content in. I keep my swift files small, but even a 10k swift sprite seems to slow things down.Quote:

Then if you put more than 1 100k files in there, you're screwed.
I'm about to put $$ down on Swift3D...I was wondering what your guys feelings are about Swift3D versus the Font3D package that they have. Does Swift3D take care of all that Font3D does and more, or are they diff't in their areas of interest?
your site looks great!!
what is the mane of that font you use in the main module that loads. its the one in the boxes all the way to the left. can you e-mail it to me
thanks
